President -
Tammy Forshee, RVT, BS
    Tammy earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology at Colby Community College in 1994 and her BS in Agri-Business at Fort Hays State University in 1998.
    Her family includes her husband, Steve. Candy, Simply Montana, and Flury – Quarter Horses and Mattie – Blue Heeler, and Radar – a DSH cat. Tammy's hobbies are conducting horsemanship clinics, training horses, outdoor sports and scrapbooking.

1-Year Member at Large -
Wendy Baier, RVT
     Wendy attended Colby Community College in 2006 and earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology. She also attended Barton County Community College & Butler County Community College.She was awarded Phi Theta Kappa and Denise Peterson Scholarship.
     She is engaged to Jeff Linot – getting married June ’08 in Virginia Beach, 2 dogs – “Jess” a 4 year old lab mix and “Tocoma” a 2 year old Great Dane/Mastiff mix.
     Wendy's goals for KVTA-Increase membership & awareness.

Karla Capper, RVT
     Karla attended Maple Woods Community College and Johnson County Community College - 1992
     Her family includes husband – Jeff, children – Ian & Kira. “Mooch” 2 year old Australian Shepherd “Starburst” & “The Beatles” – water frogs.
     Karla's goals for KVTA-Expand membership,encourage meeting attendance,and continuing education.

Vicki Nielsen-Jones, RVT
     Vicki earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology at Colby Community College in 1989.
     Her family includes her husband - David,Dog – “Mic” 8 year old Australian Shepherd, Cats – “Boomer”, “Q”, “TD” “Tubbets”, 2 Quarter Horses – “Possum” & “Steve”. Some hobbies are – biking, hiking, traveling, OU football.
     Vicki's goals for KVTA-Stir interest in the organization by making it more beneficial for members.

Kristen Webb, RVT
     Kristen has an AAS in Veterinary Technology earned in 2006 from Colby Community College.
     Her family includes her Husband – Brad Webb, 2yr. Old son – Vincent, Cat: Daisy Mae, Labrador Retriever – Milo, Collie/Shepherd – Pepper, 2 Horses – Dox & Dixie. Hobbies – fast pitch softball, riding horses, spending time with family.
     Kristen's goals for KVTA - Increase membership, spread the word about veterinary technology, educate the public about our profession.

     Cheryl has earned her BA in Biology at Ottawa University in 1998 and her AAS in Veterinary Technology at Colby Community College in 2000.
     Her family includes Fletcher, a yellow lab and Archie, a DSH Silver Tabby. Cheryl's hobbies are reading, cooking/baking, knitting, quilting and spending time with family.

   
     
     


Chairman of the Executive Board -
Jill Foster, BS, RVT
      Jill earned a BS in Animal Science & Industry at Kansas State University in
2002, and her AAS in Veterinary Technology at Colby Community College in 2005.
     Her family includes Jackson – a boxer mix. Jill's hobbies are reading and attending country concerts.
